Sapple Power is an energy gel based on 80 percent organic apple from South Tyrol. During exercise it delivers fast available carbohydrates plus long lasting energy thanks to 4 different types of sugar. The apple's complete nutrient profile keeps the gel easy on the stomach, even over long distances.

Three points. First, real fruit as the base instead of highly processed sugar syrup or a synthetic sugar blend. Second, a 4 sugar matrix of fructose, glucose, sucrose and maltodextrin with a 1 to 0.8 glucose to fructose ratio for SGLT1+GLUT5 dual transport. Third, clean label: few ingredients and no artificial flavours. Sapple Power is the premium gel for athletes who refuse to separate performance and health.

Yes. The apples come from certified organic farming, and so does the maltodextrin. The preservatives, however, cannot be certified organic, which makes the gel as a whole ineligible for organic certification.

Sapple Power is primarily meant for during exercise, but also works as a booster beforehand. Take one gel about 10 to 15 minutes before the start, then another every 30 to 45 minutes depending on duration and intensity. Before short sessions under one hour you usually do not need extra energy. After exercise a proper meal is the better choice.

Rule of thumb for endurance sports: 60 to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour, which usually means 1 to 2 Sapple Power gels per hour. For very intense efforts, long distances or a well trained gut, 90 to 120 grams are possible too. Important: do the same in training and racing, your stomach has to learn the routine.

Sapple Power contains fructose naturally from the apple. If you have diagnosed fructose malabsorption or hereditary fructose intolerance, the product is not suitable. When in doubt, talk to your doctor before using it.

Special legal rules apply to food. Sealed original packaging can be returned within 14 days as long as the seal is intact. Once a gel has been opened, returns are excluded for hygiene reasons. Details and the model withdrawal form are in the withdrawal policy.

Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. At room temperature Sapple Power is perfectly backpack proof. The exact best before date is printed on every pack. As a rule our gels keep for 18 months from production.

Yes to both. Sapple Power is vegan and contains no gluten containing ingredients. It is also lactose free. Full allergen information is on every pack and in the product description in the shop.
